2. Description of Service

Qortr is a room booking platform that allows users to discover, book, and manage room reservations. Organizations can list their spaces, set availability, and manage bookings through our platform.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must:

• Create an account with accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Booking Terms

For Guests

• Bookings are subject to availability and organization approval
• You agree to use booked spaces respectfully and as intended
• Cancellation policies are set by individual organizations
• No-shows may result in penalties as defined by the organization

For Organizations

• You must have the right to list spaces on the platform
• Listing information must be accurate and up-to-date
• You are responsible for honoring confirmed bookings
• You must comply with all applicable local laws and regulations

5. Payment Terms

Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to:

• Provide accurate payment information
• Authorize charges for your bookings
• Pay all applicable fees and taxes

Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy of each organization.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
• Scrape or collect data without permission
• Transmit malware or harmful code
• Engage in fraudulent booking practices

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Qortr and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without express permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qortr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of New York.
